I am a research mathematician at the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate.

My research centers around sparse and nonconvex optimization and its applications to signal processing and machine learning. I am especially interested in leveraging inherent low-dimensional structure in data for recovery, computation, and generalization. I am also interested in methods of incorporating human knowledge for improved training and communication.
